"Cafe La Maude is a brunch specialist..." - Philadelphia Magazine

With the authentic feel of a Parisian café and a colorful menu that’ll feast the eyes and delight the taste buds, Café La Maude may just become your next favorite brunch destination. Our goal is to provide our guests with a meal that’s sprinkled with love and an experience that makes you feel like family. Whether you’re a tourist visiting the beautiful city of Philadelphia or just looking to catch up with your friends and family over a delicious brunch, we’d love to have you here at Café La Maude!

Inspired by the savory flavors of their mother Maude’s homecooked meals from their childhood in Lebanon, Café La Maude is an ode to Nathalie Richan and her brother Roland Kassis’ family history, traditions and culture. Together, along with Nathalie’s husband Gabi Richan, they run Café La Maude and specialize in serving a French and Lebanese-influenced cuisine every day of the week to hungry and adventurous brunch-goers.

    Happy Customers

"Delicious! It's like walking back into a 60's stylish French apartment - the ambiance is just that rich."

    - Zagat

"There are chopped salads, and at Cafe la Maude, the Lebanese-French jewel box tucked on Fourth Street in Northern Liberties, there's the house's De Maison chopped salad - another level of the game."

    -Philly.com

"Lively chatter, in both English and Arabic, dings off the marble tables as chef Nathalie Richan and her staff serve every-which-way eggs, turkey kafta, homemade foul moudamas, and La Colombe coffee to the relaxing masses."

    -Bon Appétit

"You get it all here: great service, beautiful presentation, and incredible food. Servings are HUGE, so plan to share or come hungry. This is the best brunch place if you're feeling a little adventurous!"

    -Zomato Review

"The GREEN SHAKSHUKA was AMAZING! Creamy, thick, and full of flavor. I'm surprised something with no meat at all could be this good!!!"

    -Yelp Review

"Looking at the menu, it’s not a surprise that people flock to Cafe La Maude because you simply cannot find breakfast dishes like these anywhere else in the city: Gypsy Eggs with breaded eggplant and avocado; Gaufre Chicken Cordon Bleu with chicken-stuffed waffles, eggs and two cheeses; and Foul Madamas with its scrambled eggs, marinated fava beans and hummus, just to name a few."
